Great Mp3 player has survived lots of torture*****

I bought this item refurbished off the amazon website in 2007. Came to me a few days early too which I liked. Paired with a pair of phillips headset I was rocking for hours. Its really easy to use and transfer music to and putting podcasts on it is a easy task. I did get scared when I first dropped this mp3 player but its sturdy and I have never broke the screen. I give it a 5 because its easy to use and it works with every media player out.

Pros.
30 gigs (who needs more really I only have about 20gigs on this bad boy)
music playback is great (its made by creative enough said)
Compatible with all media players for transfering mp3’s
DRM compatible (which is great for people that use online services

Cons.
There are a few times when the mp3 player locks up but its easy fixed with a restart of the unit manually
Software for the mp3 player could be alot better but a good effort on the part of creative crew

ALRIGHT WHAT ON EARTH*****

First of all, I love this product. Unfortunately it just died after about two and a half years of strenuous use, and I go to Amazon to see if I can get one for the same price I got it the first time. I paid 200 dollars for it. I get on Amazon and the best they can find is one for FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Just thought I’d point that out. I’ma go buy an iTouch now

Durable and reliable****

I got my Creative Zen 30 GB as a replacement for my 40 GB Zen from Best Buy. I have had it since 2006 and through many bumps and bangs later, it still works as good as it did as when I first got it. The battery life is excellent. I only have to charge it once every week and a half, which is great considering I use it constantly. I would recommend putting it on the quickest idle settings for longer battery life. It has taken quite a few droppings and heavy bumps and survived with hardly a scratch. The CD artwork and capacity for pictures is excellent for a shutterbug like me. The screen is clear and vibrant and the sync time is astonishingly quick as well as charge time.

The only cons with this is that the headphones that came with it suck. I’d say get the Skull Candy headphones from Target for it. The video quality is very pixellated and it is not as compact as some other players, so depending on what kind of pants pockets I have, I am out of luck.

All in all I would recommend this player to anyone. The cons are small but would not deter me from getting another one.
